James L. Clark
President & CEO
Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Len Krichko epitomizes all that is good in our nation; with a keen sense of the need to perpetuate the American dream through today’s youth. He has always upheld the beliefs and spirit when it comes to serving kids and changing the dynamic for America’s youth. We owe Len a tremendous debt of gratitude for the numerous professionals he has developed, grown and coached over his career. Without this, our Movement would perish and our legacy lost. Those that follow in Len Krichko’s footsteps stand on the shoulders of a great and an icon in our Movement.
Len Krichko’s leadership, character, charisma and drive are simply unparalleled. I want to thank Len for everything he has done for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan. The organization is nothing short of first class. He has been an absolute treasure to work with and I count myself lucky to have had the chance to serve together.

I would like to thank Len Krichko for everything he has done for youth across the country. He has made an impact on several CEO’s across the country, including myself. I know that Len is always a phone call away whenever I need advice or just a fellow executive to brainstorm with. My term as The Professional Association President was indeed rewarding thanks to Len Krichko. I knew I could always count on him as my Senior Advisor for some of the best advice and guidance. It was truly an honor being inducted into the Masters & Mentors Class of 2017 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference with Len Krichko.

I want folks to know how much respect I have for Len Krichko. He took over the leadership of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan and he prevailed through some of the toughest economic times in metro Detroit and our nation’s history. That alone would have caused most executives to fail, but not Len. His tenacity and unfailing optimism encouraged others – especially in the tough times. During this challenging time, Len successfully raised millions of dollars for a capital campaign. I was fortunate to help Len plan and build an award winning state-of-the-art facility that serves thousands of kids in Detroit to this day.

Len Krichko made a decision years ago to dedicate himself towards making real differences in the lives of children. His journey was infused with compassion, integrity, and a special gift for doing all the right things for all the right reasons.
The strength and consistency of his leadership qualities helped him navigate time and time again through the challenges that face non-profits. Len’s outstanding work is truly appreciated and highly respected by his colleagues and friends.
Len’s willingness to share his expertise with others during this new chapter of his life is driven by the same passion he embraced years ago.
